How to play cards in Montana
Play markers: The board will have green arrows for all allowed plays. Each arrow is from a card to an empty space.
Playing with a tap: If you tap a card that plays (is at the end of a green arrow) it is moved to the blank space it plays to. If you tap a blank space the card that plays there is moved to that blank space. After the card is moved the green play arrows are updated.
Playing twos: Twos play to a blank in the left-most column. Any two can play to a left-mode blank and a two can play to any left-mode blank.

Tapping a two will move it to some left-hand blank. If this is not the one you wanted tap it again or tap another left-hand blank until it moves to the position you want.
Undo: The Undo button will undo plays. You can undo any number of plays except you cannot undo past a redeal.
Redealing: When you are stuck press the Redeal button to redeal the cards and continue playing.
New game: The New game button starts a new game. Usually you do this after you have won the game but you can start a new game at any time.
Settings: The Settings button changes to the setting toobar with these buttons:
Set to defaults: This resets all the settings to their original values.
# in suit: You can play with anywhere from 4 to 13 cards in each suit. The smaller decks allow faaster games and are easier to win. It is useful to use a smaller deck to try out game play strategies.
Card style: You can choose any of five styles of card display:
Full: This displays the full card in each splace. This makes the cards somewhat hard to see because they are so small.
Part-S: This show a "partial" card, the upper left part of the card, as much as will fit in the place.
Part-M: Same as "Part-S" except the card is made bigger, medium size.
Part-L: Same as "Part-S" except the card is made bigger, large size.
Pip+Color: This displays the pip (2 through K) of the card on a background which indicates the suit. Spades are black, clubs are grey, hearts are red, diamons are pink. Not what you are used to, but these are the most legible cards.
Animation delay: This allows you to set the time, in seconds, it takes to animate the card motion when cards are moved. A value of zero means that no animation will be done.
